INDIAN DIETETICS ASSOCIATION HAS FORMED A FOOD PYRAMID. 

Nutrients, Food Chain, Good for kids, Toddlers 

 

 

milk, yogurt and cheese :2 to 3 servings

meat, poultry, fish, dry beans,eggs(1) and nuts:2 to 3 servings

vegetables:3 to 5 servings

fruits:2 to 4 servings

bread, cereal, rice and pasta:6 to 11 servings

also go easy on fats and oils as it is in the tip of the pyramid
